The English Book Depot (EBD) was established in 1923, and is India's premier book retailer, with a maiden bookstore at Dehradun. The store is an important landmark in the city and houses a Barista Coffee Bar. In 2010, EBD acquired the brand BookCafe, and have an exclusive selection of books for young readers and offer the best book-buying experience for the family. In addition to being an established retailer, EBD publishes the Current Events help books for competitive exams and personality development. Historically the bookstore has been associated with the armed forces as a supplier of Military and Warfare books. Our specialised fields are - Children Books, Fiction and Non-Fiction.
